We collect only information necessary to operate the marketplace.

3.2 Payments and Marketplace Payouts (Stripe)

AvailEquip may enable payment functionality within the marketplace. Payment features may be offered directly by us, or through marketplace payout functionality for sellers.

We use Stripe, Inc. and its affiliated entities (“Stripe”) to process payments.

Depending on how the marketplace transaction is structured, Stripe may:

  • Process payments from buyers,
  • Facilitate payouts to sellers,
  • Perform identity verification (Know Your Customer – KYC),
  • Conduct anti-money laundering (AML) and fraud prevention checks,
  • Collect and process financial and business verification information required by law.

In certain marketplace configurations, sellers may be required to create or connect a Stripe account to receive payouts. In such cases:

  • Stripe may collect identity information, tax information, banking details, and verification documents directly from the seller.
  • Stripe acts as an independent data controller for financial regulatory processing.
  • The processing of such information is governed by Stripe’s own Privacy Policy.

AvailEquip does not store full payment card numbers.

5.1 Marketplace Sharing

Because AvailEquip is a marketplace:

  • When you submit an RFQ or inquiry, your name, company, and contact details may be shared solely for the purpose of responding to your request or facilitating a transaction.
  • Listing information published by sellers may be visible to other users.

5.2 Service Providers

We may share personal information with trusted third-party service providers that support the operation of the Service, including:

  • Cloud hosting and infrastructure providers
  • Payment processors and financial services providers (including Stripe)
  • Analytics providers (Google Analytics)
  • Email delivery providers for transactional communications
